Why it matters
Protect your people from pain, injury and absence
Onsite ergonomic assessments are the most thorough way to make sure your valuable employees are working comfortably and productively. For fixed-desk staff the benefits are obvious, more comfort, less fatigue, fewer injuries. For hot-deskers, we teach the skill of setting up safely every time, so they get the most from every space they use.
Resolve the hidden causes of pain
We identify and fix the real reasons behind your staff’s back, neck, shoulder and wrist discomfort, before they turn into absence or injury.
Stay legally compliant
DSE assessments are a UK legal requirement for office and home-based staff. Every assessment comes with a full written report for your records.
One-to-one, on your site
We come to your workplace and work with each person individually, adjusting their chair, desk and screen, and teaching them how to keep it right.
Built for fixed desks and hot-deskers
Permanent or hot-desking, we show your team how to set up quickly and safely every time, so nobody is left working in discomfort.

Is a DSE assessment a legal requirement?
Yes. Under UK regulations, employers must assess the workstations of staff who use display screen equipment, and that includes permanent home and hybrid workers. A proper assessment makes sure the right equipment is in place and that employees can work comfortably and safely, with records to prove it.

An experienced DSE assessor and ergonomics evaluator
Every assessment is carried out personally by James Crow, a qualified ergonomics and DSE assessor with more than 15 years’ experience and a Certified Remote Ergonomics Specialist. When you book with Posture Stars you deal directly with the assessor, not a call centre or a subcontractor.
Whether you call it a DSE assessment, an ergonomic workstation assessment, or an ergonomics evaluation, the goal is the same: get each person set up so they can work comfortably, safely and productively, and give you the written records to prove you’ve met your legal duty. We work across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the Derbyshire High Peak, or online anywhere.
